They meet with the Continental’s new manager, Winston (Ian McShane), and the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne), who are both facing consequences for aiding Wick. The Adjudicator gives them a choice: face punishment or help take down Wick.
As Wick begins to uncover the conspiracy behind his exile, he crosses paths with new allies and enemies. One such ally is Sofia (Halle Berry), a fellow assassin who owes Wick a debt. Review
John Wick: Chapter 4 is a thrilling ride from start to finish, with breathtaking action sequences and stunning visuals that are sure to leave audiences on the edge of their seats. The film’s fight choreography is once again a standout feature, with each fight scene expertly crafted and executed. Reeves delivers another impressive performance as Wick, portraying him as a relentless and determined force of nature. The supporting cast is equally impressive, with Halle Berry standing out as Sofia, a fierce and formidable ally to Wick.
One of the film’s strengths is its world-building. The John Wick universe is vast and intricate, with its own set of rules and lore. Chapter 4 expands on this world, taking audiences to new locations and introducing new characters. While this could potentially be overwhelming, the film manages to balance its world-building with its action and pacing, making for a well-rounded and engaging experience.

However, one of the film’s weaknesses is its lack of character development. While John Wick is a compelling character, the supporting cast is largely underdeveloped. New characters are introduced, but they are never given the same level of attention as Wick. This can make it difficult for audiences to become invested in their fates.
Another issue is the film’s reliance on violence. While this is to be expected in an action film, there are moments where the violence feels excessive and gratuitous. This may turn off some viewers who are looking for a more nuanced and thoughtful film.
