Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson, also known as “The Rock”, is a professional wrestler turned actor and producer who has become one of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry. Born on May 2, 1972, in Hayward, California, Johnson was the son of professional wrestlers Rocky Johnson and Ata Johnson. He was exposed to the world of wrestling at a young age, as both his father and grandfather were wrestlers.
Career
Johnson’s early years were spent in Hawaii, where he attended high school and played football. He then attended the University of Miami on a full scholarship, where he played defensive tackle for the Miami Hurricanes. After college, Johnson decided to pursue a career in professional football and was signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Stampeders for one season before being cut.

After his football career ended, Johnson decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a professional wrestler. He began training with his father in the early 90s and made his debut in 1996 as “Rocky Maivia” in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He quickly became a fan favorite and was eventually given the nickname “The Rock”. He would go on to win multiple championships and become one of the biggest stars in the WWE.

He is the founder and CEO of his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, which has produced several successful films and television shows.
